The Mendocino Coast has almost 100 miles of MTB accessible single-track trails through the redwoods, much of it constructed by local volunteers. The Mendocino Coast Cyclists club is dedicated to enhancing and maintaining this incredible trail system, and we work closely with public land managers to identify opportunities to build new trails and maintain the current network. All our sanctioned trails are considered multi-use, and we encourage riders to show utmost courtesy and trail etiquette in sharing these trails.
Be aware that there currently is very little signage on the trails, though JDSF recreation management is planning to post signage on their official trail system soon. Riding with a GPS enabled map, such as TrailForks, is recommended.
This area of our website is under construction, and we hope to offer more resources in the near future.
Consider volunteering with the Steam Donkey Trail Crew, and share the camaraderie in creating a great trail system.
